Untitled # 7
She holds in her hands
The hands
That use to hold mine
She owns my safe place
The shoulder
The sweet embrace
She kisses the lips
The lips
That use to kiss mine
The sad mysterious eyes
The smile so kind
A man so hard to find
She owns the heart
The heart
Once a part of mine
They belong to her now
It’s her time to shine
To be the brightness in his pale world
To be the red rose
The rare pearl
The object of his longing
The blue sapphire sparkling
The poetic words
No longer mine
His new rock
The angel that makes him cry
The quiet Sundays
The warm breeze
The peek of dawn
Laying in my lover’s arms
The shoulder that once held my trouble gray
Her salty tears now slumber
It’s her day
